True?? Supposedly.

Explanations on insurance accident forms.

1. Coming home I drove into the wrong house and collided with a tree I don’t have.
2. The other car collided with mine without giving warning of its intent.  [How rude.]

3. I collided with a stationary truck coming the other way.
4. In my attempt to kill a fly, I drove into a telephone pole.

5. I had been shopping for plants all day and was on my way home. As I reached an intersection, a hedge sprang up, obscuring my vision and I did not see the other car.
6. I had been driving for forty years when I fell asleep at the wheel and had an accident.

7. I was on my way to the doctor with rear end trouble when my universal joint gave way causing me to have an accident.
8. As I approached the intersection a sign suddenly appeared in a place where no sign had ever appeared before, making me unable to avoid the accident.

9. I pulled away from the side of the road, glanced at my mother-in-law, and headed over the embankment.

10. I told the police I was not injured, but upon removing my hair, I found that I had a fractured skull.
11. I was sure the old fellow would never make it to the other side of the road when I struck him.

12. I saw a slow-moving, sad-faced old gentleman as he bounced off the hood of my car.
13. The indirect cause of the accident was a little guy in a small car with a big mouth.

14. A pedestrian hit me and went under my car.
15. I thought my window was down, but I found out it was up when I put my head through it.

16. The guy was all over the road. I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him. 17. The pedestrian had no idea which way to run, so I ran over him.

Just To Give You A Smile

And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
Bible quotes

A real friend is like an angel who warms you by her presence and remembers you in her prayers.

An angel; or, if not,
An earthly paragon.
William Shakespeare

Take Care of Today

Don’t waste your life in doubts and fears: spend yourself on the work before you, well assured that the right performance of this hour’s duties will be the best preparation for the hours or ages that follow it.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

No longer forward nor behind
I look in hope and fear;
But grateful take the good I find,
The best of now and here.

John G. Whittier

WEE It Is Nice

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.    Helen Keller

Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold.   Helen  Keller

To live a life with purpose, focus, and commitment means daily connecting with our true source of power.  The oils of Clarity, Live With Passion, Sacred Frankincense, Valor, Joy (there are so many we could list) help us along this journey.  Enjoy Enjoy  Enjoy

Time for a Liter Moment

Ahhh We have given yesterday our best. Today we will share a smile and remember not so profound thoughts:

If you can’t convince them, confuse them.
— Harry S. Truman

It is a damned poor mind indeed that can’t think of at least two ways of spelling any word.
— Andrew Jackson   [I am brilliant according to this statement.]

In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on.
— Robert Frost

Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country.
— Marion Barry

Pick and choose what makes your day brighter.

What is Real?

In an earlier post I wrote that there is a fine line between reality and a pessimistic outlook!!  Just like old and weary are two different outlooks.

I know a lot about ‘negative’ thought patterns because it was at one time a major personality challenge for me.  None of my oils were getting to the root of that ‘gray layer’ that laid on the top of my emotional-brain.

In 2010 Dr. Purser along with Young Living introduced some ‘powerful stuff’ and what a difference it is making.  I was using the new products, Sacred Frankincense and Progessence Plus to see what is real.  What a gift I have in these two oils.

How Can It Be?

I have so little stuff and yet I am content-how can it be?

I have great distance (geographically) between me and my children and yet I accept what is-how can it be?

I do the right thing so that my grands and I can have a relationship and I accept the boundaries of their mom and am grateful-how can it be?

Life has taught me that unless I truly change me my life is going to be very very hard.  I don’t like hard and so the serenity prayer ‘change the things I can’ for me is ‘change my vision and thank you for the song of gratitude in my heart’.  That I found is How It Can Be.

Choose what you will but as for me and my household we will serve the one God.   May you feel the love of the one who loves you the most.

It Is What It Is

Help me embrace the real facts of my life, see them through the eyes of possibility, and sing a happy song.   Thank you God.    Love the day all day and see the results in you.

Recently a reader set expectations for a vacation and every single one was met.  They looked at past experiences with these folks, knew what the behaviors had been and dealt with it.  The results was our reader had a very nice time and thoroughly enjoyed her ‘working vacation’.

Fine line between reality and pessimistic outlook!!  Just like old and weary.  More later.
