More Fun

The crisis of today is the joke of tomorrow. H.G. Wells

A joke is a very serious thing.  W. Churchill

Two friars are having trouble paying off the belfry, so they open a florist shop.  Everyone wants to buy flowers from the men of God so business is quickly booming.  The florist across town sees a huge drop in sales and asks the two friars to close their shop, but they refuse.  A month later the florist begs the friars to close because he’s having trouble feeding his family.  Again, they refuse, so the florist hires Hugh McTaggert.  Hugh is the roughest, toughest thug in town and is hired to “persuade” the friars to close.  Hugh asks the friars to close their florist shop.  When they refuse, he threatens to beat the crap out of them and wreck their shop every day they remain open, so they close.
This proves once again that Hugh and only Hugh can prevent florist friars. ~ Paul

Moving Along

Today we have an adventure.  We will be meeting new people, congratulating a new graduate, sharing with family, and counting our many blessings.

I will be giving and getting my quotas of hugs.  It is a great journey.

I will use many oils for balance and Joy.

Propelled

How to get back the vim and vigor for life is a quest I have been on since 1995.  Many inspirational sites tell you surround yourself with people that challenge you and inspire you.  OK where in the world do you find people like that?????

The conclusion I have come to is I don’t want the vim and vigor I want the gentle flow of life blessings to keep me moving along as I smell the roses.

Ahhh the oil of Believe comes to mind.

Arms

Arms are for hugging.

Give a Hug   Get a Hug.

How would your life change if you were exchanging hugs at least once a day with a person you cherished?    Do cyber hugs count?  Why do I bring up this subject?  This blog will explain better than I can.  Just to give you a teaser:  Reason 6 of 6 Reasons You Need To Be Touched

Gives us the sensory input that we crave. Scientists are just discovering how truly important it is to exercise all our physical senses for proper brain and emotional development. All the various kinds of touch from butterfly kisses to deep tissue massage send our brains the physical inputs it needs to make sense of the world. So, along with touching other people and pets, make time to explore different textures and touch sensations such as letting cool sand run through your fingers or taking a warm relaxing bath.

Don’t let yourself get too busy that you starve yourself of touch. It’s important for your physical, mental and emotional well being to touch others and let others touch you.

The oil of Peace and Calming will remind me of my needs.

Forward

Looking back we stumble bumble   looking to the right and left we get a sore neck  Looking forward with our hearts raised up helps us see our filled up cup.
