A New Era
I have suddenly become ’sweety’ to clerks, waitresses, and other service attendants. I don’t like it.
Of course I don’t like the expression Ma’am either. What an awkward age I am at. I am way beyond Miss and as far as I am concerned no where near sweety.
The real dilemma is responding with a gracious smile instead of a sarcastic remark. After all the poor dears can’t help that they just don’t know any better.
Sure wish I knew the best oil to help with this.
