Observe Absorb

Multitasking means screwing up several things at once.    Unknown

Slow down.  Enjoy.  Breathe deeply and “…be still and know that I am God.”

The wonderful oil of Believe puts me where I want to be.

It’s Time to Relax

If the people don’t want to come out to the park, nobody’s gonna stop them.
Yogi Berra

The chicken came first – God would look silly sitting on an egg.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.
Mark Twain

Anything that is too stupid to be spoken is sung.

The most overlooked advantage of owning a computer is that if they foul up there’s no law against whacking them around a bit.

A Journey

Today I am doing what I enjoy.  It benefits me, my world, and those I have contact with.  Today I smile and give many thanks for hope, possibility, and success.  Today is mine to make beautiful.

Plodding Along

The world has had crazy weather this past winter and spring.  How do we let these external factors influence our day?  The most wonderful thing about small children is they just embrace what is and create their joy.

Get ‘Er Done

Nothing in life is certain except death and taxes     Benjamin Franklin   Remember:  If you had no income you would have no taxes.  It is best just to be grateful you can have a lifestyle in spite of our government.

I’m not so much interested in the return ON my money as I am in the return OF my money.
Will Rogers

All Righty Then

“Finish everyday and be done with it.  You have done what you could; some blunder and absurdities no doubt crept in;  forget them as soon as you can.  Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”   -RalphWaldoEmerson

Smile On Your Way

The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you don’t like, and do what you’d rather not. – Mark Twain

Son, employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the ass. The key to managemeant is knowing which mules are which.

It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road.

Life is for Real

In our 20′s we are busy discovering who we are without the ‘parents’ looking over our shoulders.  We are an ‘adult’  by law and we are creating the life we want.

In our 30′s we begin to know that the cycle just keeps going on and on and on and seek for things that are a bit more substantial.  We make life changing choices and mark a path that we will follow for many years.

In our 40′s we realize that it is a ‘grind’ to do the right thing, we do reap what we sow, and the light is there but the tunnel is longer than we thought.

In our 50′s we are either finishing up the path that was made from our choices 20 years ago or we have abandon that path and have another plan that we have implemented.

In our 60′s we reflect on the things that make today the life we have.  We evaluate and start implementing things that bring a contentment and satisfaction that accompanies a job well done.

It’s Complicated

Integrity-You can’t look around for it you have to look up to it.

I recently learned that some couples I have admired are walking away from their homes because they no longer want to pay the cost they contracted for.   They have the money they just don’t want to keep throwing it down the ‘pit of no value’.   These are people that would never think of themselves as crooks, robbers or cheats.  These are people that I thought I could trust with the treasures that last forever.

I want to be clear on what God expects from me and live in His integrity.

I will wear Highest Potential and Sacred Frankincense to remind of who I really am.

Reporting for Duty

The more things change the more they remain the same.  We must look for the wonder in the moment or else we only wonder ‘what was that’?

I believe I’ll use Stress Away and Peace and Calming today.
