You are driving, standing in line, or some other activity that involves what I call ‘passive interaction’ with others of our species. One of these unknown humans do something to irritate you. You are getting more and more agitated. You have enough control to not go ‘occupy’ on them but you want to. How dare they act so crude, rude and socially unacceptable.
Now change those thoughts. See that person as doing the best they can. Your thoughts of You creep shut up/what the../ are feeding negative emotions. If we say a little blessing/mantra/positive thought it will lighten us up (positive emotions).
‘Ahh you poor schmuck I know you are clueless so what the hey‘ isn’t quite what I had in mind. Something like I hope your day gets better or just think words like fun, calm, serene, happy, etc. It is fun to do. It also helps you create a more beautiful day.
