Trust Your Vision

I think there is a world market for maybe 5 computers. IBM Chairman 1943
Today I wish that had been a true prophecy.  My little pc certainly has a mind of its own.

[As I preview this entry the margins are wrong, the spacing is skewed, but the message is there. I haven't changed anything.  The 'little pc' has decided this is the way it will be.]

Computers are the illusion of efficiency in my opinion. We were told that we were headed for a paperless society.  That was in the mid 80′s.  The jobs lost because of ‘self help’ in the grocery stores, gas stations, and libraries are more than the tech jobs created. The up side is we do get the opportunity to practice patience when we ‘can’t get a human’ on the phone or when the human has no idea how to help because the computer does it and ‘it is down.’
